Jamestown’s rich history is exemplified by several historic structures, including Mendenhall Plantation – built in 1800 – and the McCulloch Gold Mill, which is referred to as Castle McCullough because of its stone construction, cathedral rooms and drawbridge.
The town has a below average cost-of-living and the Piedmont’s temperate location offers mild weather.
